more out of life

Everyone seems to want more out of life. Yet no one seems to be doing anything about it.  We then look to the people who seem to have their entire lives together and wonder how they got to that point.  Soon enough, we're filled with jealousy wishing our lives could be that together.  Wishing to wake up one morning and just have it all work out.  When really what we need to do is work towards that life; work towards being the person we want to be.  It doesn't happen in a flash and I think it's about time I realize that.  For the past couple of years I've been sitting, hoping, waiting, wishing when really I should be out there doing something with my life.  So I can be the person that people look to and wish that their life would be so together and wonder why God hadn't blessed them with such a strong will and great life.  Yes, wanting more out of life is one thing.  But getting what you want, that's all you.  I can say from now on I will be more of the person I really want to be.  But we all know that in the next couple of days that'll wear off and I'll be back to where I started; hoping and wishing. So instead I'm going to take it day by day instead of week by week or year by year and just maybe that'll make all the difference. Peace out.

Great FREE show. As Ryan says, Whale's Vagina is the best place in SoCal. And Yellowcard kicks plenty of ass.

Thanks Jac's friend for the cool pictures I stole.

So I had probably the best weekend I've had in a while.  Last night, I went out with Charmine, Bryan, & Jamielou to eat at IHOP & go cosmic bowling.  It lead to a very interesting night.  Glad we got to hang out again & catch up on things. Plus listen to one song over and over again.

Saturday I went to the happiest place you can be on a Saturday morning, the Spring Valley Swap Meet. Had the best nachos in the world then bought some clothes. Yes, I actually bought clothes there. But it's kick ass, cheap, real, and probably stolen. But as long as I'm not doing the stealing & still get "stealing" kick backs I'm all for it.

Afterwards Bryan, Mark, Eric and I went to the Q to watch the Aztec's kick San Jose's ass.  And we didn't just sit anywhere, we had our own skybox with my auntie and cousins. Those things are lovely, as gay as that sounds.  We had our own buffett of hot dogs, chips & dip, popcorn, chicken nuggets, & a fridgerator stocked with plenty of sodas & beers.  It was an air conditioned room with a private deck if you wanted to venture out.  Plus the most important luxury of all, a private restroom so we didn't have to share with the other 50,000 people that went.  So we basically watched the game in lush seats as if we belonged to the Billionaire Boys Club courtesy of my auntie.  It's crazy how renting out a box like that costs over $10,000 & our food bill came out to $300.  But as long as it didn't come out of our pockets.  After seeing San Jose get creamed we watched probably the best fireworks show I've seen in my life to date.  The skyshow was amazing.  Fire in the stadium, fireworks in the air, and fire on the freeway. Apparently one of the fireworks touched ground with some grass and caused a brush fire near the freeway. I loved it & want to make it a point to go every year now.

Plus the Aztec's scored 52 points & according to my ticket Rubio's claim that if they score over 25 points, that I get a free fish taco.  Excellent.

Good way to end a very stressful week full of tests. Time to sleep & blog another day. Peace out.

I weigh under 120 pounds and I drive a V6 SUV that seats 7...all by myself.  Talk about getting raped by gas prices.
